1. Connect your PC to Alien 2 with null modem cable as described in this thread.
2. Press and Hold the [Menu] Button on the Front Panel, then power on Alien 2, you will see PDK7125> appear in your terminal application window.
3. Type these commands at the prompt, press enter after each.

PDK7125>set load_addr 80000000
PDK7125>save  

4. Try again to install the rescue image either using the USB or LAN method.
