Many of the world's broadcasters are preparing for the next generation of broadcast standard, named Ultra HD 4K. Japanese public broadcaster NHK in Brazil but rebuilt his plan to run in Ultra HD 8K Super Hi-Vision. The launch of this format planned for 2020.
NHK has scanned some matches World Cup in Brazil in technology Ultra HD 8K, which present in some public places in Brazil. Match Japan - Ivory Coast has been featured in 8K and similarly match USA - Grana. Matches were screened at four special places in Japan on giant screens.
The same signals are also converted from 4K to 8K to test conversion and transmission system.
Japan focuses on Brazil, not only for football but also because people using the Japanese system developed for digital terrestrial broadcasting - ISDB. Brazil will also host the 2016 Olympic Games and it will be another area to test Ultra HD format 8K.
