If you have upper models of tv, it might have Digital tuner.
As most of tv have DVB-T/DVB-T2 tuners, very least chance, tv have DTMB tuners (China standard), except few Chinese brands.
So you will need DTMB Box (Digital Box).

Do not compare it with Afghanistan Oqaab DTH.

PTV digital service maximum will include ATV, AJK tv (govt channels) or maximum some chinese tv channels like CCTV, to make chinese happy, due to CPEC project, as DTMB project is also part of CPEC.

PTV never claimed it will be launching DTH.

My samsung tv has DVB-T format. But please try to understand it runs with card, its not free. they are broadcasting with encryption but not taking money now. Later they will ask for it. some private channels have already joined

may be digital tuner getting private channels signal.
there are several videos to get free tv channels, even without terrestrial antenna, with digital tuner

in 1994, we were living in small city, no dish antenna in whole city, no cable tv.
but we were getting signals there of "Channel V (English Version)", "ATN (Indian music channel, which later renamed to ETN > ETC > ZEE ETC and then removed later few years ago), some other channels.
Then 1995 or 1996 Dish Antenna came, and we bought in 1996.

There is no information on ptv web site, or by govt, they are adding private channels.

The best time to launch DTH was around year 2000-2005, to give a real competition to cable operators at that time, but because of bad policies, they had ruined Pakistani people of getting Good quality content, just imagin indians, bangladesh , Afghanistan, all have HD channels launched way way before PAKISTAN did, like indian had HD channels launched 10-12years ago, in 2012 or 2014, we are a failed state in that prespective, too many looters in bigger post.

If you have 8 Mbps (10+ recommend), you do not need DTH.
Streaming services are best, i recommend TUBI with US ip. Good Content and Stable, Free Service

Then IPTV too good. Even budgeted ones.
JellyFin, Plex are also good for streaming, if server owner has good quantity of content.

Pakistani all news channels live service available on youtube. HD dramas also there.

Good Android TV device+Led tv or android tv is enough.

There is too much censorship in Pakistan and in other asian countries, even in India tv channels.

If you torrent addict, try to watch Hollywood, Italian, Spanish and French movie.
Hollywood and Italian are good. Not all but good quantity in good movies.
Korean thrillers are also good.
