Ads Robinson (Tottenham Hotspur fan) says...
Let Modric go with Sturridge as part of the deal. Forget about signing midfielders we have plenty but if they insist on buying parker dont let Livermore go as a makeweight in the deal!! He looks good and hungry. Please Please Please someone at Spurs buy some good centre halfs anyone can see that is where we need to be strengthened

Graham Trotter (Sunderland fan) says...
Sunderland need to act FAST and bolster their attacking options with experienced strickers like bellamy and pay over the odds if they have to.

Bakri Ali (Arsenal fan) says...
Wenger proved clearly he doesn't know what he wants or what to do . The man has lost it completely and leading Arsenal straight to hell and to relegation . He will never resign that is clear . There is only one option that he should b kicked out

Posted 11:32 29th August 2011

Gordon Young (Chelsea fan) says...
Why would Chelsea want to sign a player who disrespects his club so much as to ask not to be played. Maybe he will get £150k per week, but he is still earning £50k a week now, more than most people earn in a year. I think we should leave him at Spurs, and go for Gotze and deBruyen we can get both for the same price !! £40 mil too much, good though he is !

Nigel Legg (Manchester United fan) says...
Arsenal need at least 11 signing, yes 11!! I`d 8-2 be an Arsenal fan this morning

Michael Pearce (Arsenal fan) says...
Humiliated and disgusted at the performance yesterday - it is time for AW / PR to be shown the door. You can compete in the premier league with young inexperienced boys and cheap foreign imports. There is no backbone in the team. Whilst AW contemplates new forwards, our excuse of a defence is laughable - time for realisim to prevail - if AW will not resign , it is time for the directors to get real and sack him and all those misguided fools to follow his idealogy. We want winners - not a bunch of theorists.

Rishi Lal (Arsenal fan) says...
Its so annoying and a disapointing result today from Arsenal. but I dont blame the team they worked hard, the player are a little frustrated too, with all the speculations regarding the Club and the manager, Wenger is a quality manager no doubt. But please for the love of god Wenger do your best bring Eden Hazard dont let that deal slip out of ur hands, we can't afford to lose him. Mikel Arteta, Gary Cahill and why dont you consider a bid for Scott Parker his a fantastic player.

Zak Campbell (Chelsea fan) says...
I cant see why Chelsea are willing to pay 40 million for Luka Modric, when we could probably pay 40 million for Kaka he's perfect for Chelsea he's strong and he would solve our creativity problem in the middle, also he doesn't start for Real Madrid so maybe Jose would be wiling to let him go, don't get me wrong Modric is a brilliant player but Kaka would be an amazing buy perfect for Chelsea.

Shame to see Fabregas go, I support Arsenal as second team however I dont see a top 4 finish this season (maybe 5th or even 6th). With the likes of Nasri, Bendtner and Arshavin (possibly) leaving, Wenger however brillaint and however much he has done for the club needs to spend. Possible suggestions that wouldnt break the bank, S Parker, K Toure, S W Phillips or even J Cole perhaps. No one could argue that you could snap most of these players up for less then £10 million Good luck, your gonna need it!

arsenal are rubbish. Fine stadium, fine passing team. Thats about it. arsene just spend some money. ure gonna get no where if u sell but dont spend. in my opinion arsenal will be lucky this season and will finish 5th. Money does everything in FOOTBALL. Look at manchester city goin 4 nasri. he certainely wants to go. if u go 4 players like gervinho and jenkinson ure looking at europa league maxium. Each and every time i look at skysports news I see bad things said about arsenal and arsene. I want 2 see "arsenal have signed KAKA, Chail, mata and diarra " this is when everyone will say arsenal are a team 2 win the title. At the momment this is not gonna happen!!!!!!!!!

David Biggs (Arsenal fan) says...
I am begining to get fed up to the back teeth with all the doom and gloom merchants in the media and some Arsenal fans who are (a) calling for the head of Arsene Wenger (b) that Arsenal are about to go into terminal decline (c) that Arsenal should spend money like confetti and place the club in hock ala Leeds, Porstmouth et al. The fans such as myself who have supported the club since the late 1940's are all too aware that under Arsene Wenger Arsenal have achieved more success than and any other manager since Herbert Chapman, and have built according to Alex Ferguson one of the finest stadiums in the country, and have still not gone bankrupt or needed overseas money to achieve this. There are players who wear an England shirt today who came up through the Arsenal accadomy, and were sold on as not being the right player's to continue the Arsenal evolution, these same player's while being good enough for England cannot get into a class Arsenal team, yet still ply their trade in other premier clubs, what does this tell you about English football and even the relegated teams such as Birmingham and West Ham. So give us real Arsenal fan a break and stop damn whinning.

Johan Van niekerk (Arsenal fan) says...
Arsenal should sell Nasri, I don't want players who does'nt want to play for the Gunners badge. With all the money we receive we should buy Mata, Hazard and Cahill. With these players we will give the title a good go. Gooner for Life!!

newcastle need a striker now soon such as sturridge or erdinc. stupid not to get shane long. need left back like erick peters. and we dont need a keeper as we have got krul, forster, harper, sodeberg why we need a keeper i dont know

Posted 18:01 18th August 2011

Steve Dean (Arsenal fan) says...
Is Arsene going to buy this transfer window? He says he'll spend £40 million on players but didn't we have money at the start of the window? Also with the sale of Cesc (£27 million) and now Nasri (£22 million) doesn't that give us £49 million plus what ever we origanilly had at the start? Knowing that these players were leaving, why weren't players put in place before? Rant over, merry xmas!

Posted 16:53 18th August 2011

Lord Franks (Arsenal fan) says...
why is everyone writing the Gunners off so early in the season? Wenger will make signings before this window ends. These signings will be right for the club. If the right players are not available he will wait until they are available and at the correct price. Patience is a virtue. Yes six years is a long time since winning the Premiership as Spurs fans are quick to remind us but FIFTY years of patience is a tad over virtuous dont you think?
