last night one of dedicated member of this board AliDogar's dish was effected by thunder storm ... dish ko kissi ki nazar lug gye hay
this kind of damage ,my favourite antennas had to face many times and finally I could succeed to repair/recover those

I hope this dish will stand on its feet very soon ...meri shub kamnaain hamesha saath rehain gee...dish is still in operation theater

After last night thunder, this morning I received only 1421 services of HotBird including HBO and MTV

I will try to repair it under the guidance of the famous Dish Accident Repair Expert of the country "Dish Denter Masood" . i have discussed the situation with him and he will try to tele-repair the dish first (will tell me on the phone how to repair and i will do the complicated procedure myself) otherwise he will visit the Operation Theater today and fix the dish himself.
Fingers crossed. Let's hope for the best. Snaps of the progress will be shared accordingly.

Wind was quite gusty last evening. My 4' antenna also fell forward despite load of bricks on its stand but lower center of gravity and reasonable elevation (aligned @ 38E) prevented it from damaging itself or the rods else it might have flown away

Don't rush to any step that you might regret during the surgery, best of luck to you and wish your antenna full recovery

same procedure was implemented and now the damaged dish is working better than b4
I shifted my quarter to six feet dish from moving to its original stand to get better result but it went in reverse gear

I think there's the problem in Dish fitting and its alignment.

Final solution yahi he k samne ho ke aphi Dish ko zor se dhaka do, ta k wo Offset me convert ho jae. Phir usko sedha kro, ho sakta he sahe result de.
