Salam firiendz.
I belong to hafizabad district. In my area ptv sports receivers given to cable centers free of cost. Only need to see verified license and there is no such charges of these receivers or this channel. And now ptv sports works on cable smoothly.

I tried. But cable centre wale kehte hain k license ki copy per milta hai. Iss k agay mujhe nai pata shayad koi aur tareeqa ho

IMO it's totally bad move by PTV authority to regulate its sports content via cable operators because it's not a private channle so every single Pakistani who pay taxs has right to view content of national television as well as sports too..
Also it's not long term policy because in future if they are gonna launch any DTH then whole cable industry is gonna collapse and we all will be eye witness of the cases against dth and cable operator...
And if they aired PTV sports via any DTH then the whole money and boxes will be wasted..like we have seen the WB .Nick and HBO Pakistan ..
At the end about TRP ..what PTV sports aired that they need to move on encryption..
The wosrt talk shows i have seen on PTV sports sports and all other content are restream via it's transponders
Total waste of money and tax of the whole nation

we pay ptv fee Rs.35/- every month at electricity bill. we should approach to competent authority for decoder otherwise to stop payment of ptv fee.
