No or (very) weak signal - Geo TV on PakSat 1R

Post by paksatman »

Dear Members, I am having trouble in getting tuned Geo TV network on my EchoLink Satellite Receiver. I am using 6 Feet Reflector and NeoSat C-Band LNB. I have carefully positioned Dish Antenna and have paid attention to Azimuth, Elevation and Skew Angle. All equipment is brand-new and in good condition. On automatic search, Receiver is able to tune around 50 TV Channels many of them have signal quality more than 50%, some even touch 70%. Surprisingly Geo News shows signal quality only up to 16% and not being tuned at all at this poor signal. I have thoroughly readjusted everything but no luck. Someone suggested reducing Symbol Rate slightly (does not seem wise, though!) but this does not change anything. I am surprised because Geo News also had poor signal when it was on AsiaSat 7S and used to disappear in different daytimes. Why same TV network is affected again and again? Could it be a deliberate act? There is now physical obstacle and I have a good open sight. Did somebody else experience the same problem and was it solved? Any suggestions?

I have already tied this... manual setting brought no positive result... LNB frequency set at 5150; it's amazing that 35 TV Channels are tuned with signal quality between 50 % and 80% while Geo and Aaj News Shows just below 17%

Dear its uplink problem, nothing you can do, just wait and watch, also most of the channels have strange behavior of signals up and down, its moves up and down with loadshadding
