Re: The formula how to calculate supporting rods' length
Brother, see here the formula for calculation of rod length. For your dish type, the formula on page 2 (in the image) will be appropriate.

Re: The formula how to calculate supporting rods' length
Realized now, there was an error in the second formula. Will re-post after correction.

Re: The formula how to calculate supporting rods' length
Cut a wooden stick of the focal length size and hold it vertically at the center of the dish, then measure the distance from the top to where the holes for the rods. thats it
- Picture speaks itself.
Re: The formula how to calculate supporting rods' length
I forgot about screw holes, for that add about 3 inches to the measured length. Bend the rod 1.5 inch from each side for the holes. The picture explains.

Re: The formula how to calculate supporting rods' length
just measured the length of my own dish's rods by removing and it is exactly 54 inches including holes....after bending at both ends the length decreases almost one and half inches....the depth is also less than 48 inches.
If the holes are excluded from 54 inches then depth also can be obtained 48 inches.
I can't proceed ahead till calibration is done successfully
