I had a dreambox for many years and I must say that the support for dreambox receivers is perfect.

Now I have a vusolo2 and I believe that it's better that dreambox not only because it's a new receiver but because it's the best in all fields.

The recording is just a recording.

Almost all receivers can do it easily.

Of course there are differences on the number of channel that you can record at the same time.

My box can record 2 different channels at the same time in HD quality.
For this porpose I'm using a usb stick of 64GB as HDD.

I think that your choise should be first of all depending on the money that you can spend.
