@Masood, i dont think so you can modify any file in your box without ftp. if you see, file access and modification is our main task, without ftp protocol how possible to access the file.

Abhi DM nay yeh naheen bataya keh mein nay usko kitna laad pyyar dya hay ,,,I used to carry DM along with me where ever I moved and I spent a lot of time on it.,,,If aliraza would not be here ,,,may be mein khud kashi ker laita.

@ Masood, brother there is no limitation of learning your interests. dont worry i am with you, as a student we always learn attracting things. Its just a glass of water not a full sea. of-course with out RND nobody create and make the things stable. we always learn from our mistakes.

There is no option to delete the channels, if you delete any channel from some TP it will automatically be there next time you reboot, so other option is it complete delete that TP from xml file before scanning and do mannual scan

yes u can with dreambox editor...first save ur favourite settings with
the help of dreambox edit then u can open this file in offline mode.
mean without connecting to dreambox..
edit what ever u like ..then save ur work before exit.
again send ur edited file again to dm..

yes u r right, but i was trying to explain access through remote side.

and the thing I understood is that ..first of I scan all SAT's TPs and then import from box ,the file extension would be .enigma .
after making amendment then save that file into box.,,,it is my guess.
if you have already done that then I need to follow you.
plz confirm if you had experiment such that.

Sorry, you cannot delete any channels from the general list (red button list) using your remote control on DM800 or 800se images (Enigma2 images).
There is no delete function displayed when you are in the red button list and press the menu button.
You can delete the channels using remote control only if the channels are in the favorite list (blue + menu).
However, you can use either dreamboxEdit or Dreamset to delete or hide the unwanted channels.
You need to restart enigma2 immediately after re-sending the modified list to your box.

I need ur appointment to enable EMU for mgcamd line ,,,ya phir zabani tareeqa bataa dain taakeh aap aaraam say sehri waqt duftri kaam ker sakkain.
My ex-box's stay is going to finish and I want to see DM in action without any delay ,,,,last night I and DM both were teasing eachother.,,and in conclusion I found the way how to manage channels.
