Common Reasons Why a Dishwasher Doesn’t Clean Properly
Clogged spray arms – Food particles block the water jets.
Overloaded or badly loaded racks – Water can’t reach all items.
Dirty or full filter – A blocked filter reduces water circulation.
Low water temperature – If it’s not hot enough, grease won’t wash off.
Incorrect detergent use – Too little, too much, or the wrong type reduces effectiveness.
Occupation:
At first, I was convinced I needed a new dishwasher. But by following the steps in the user manuals — cleaning spray arms, emptying the filter, and adjusting loading — my dishwasher started performing like new. Now, I clean the filter weekly and make sure not to overload the racks.

At first, I thought the machine had completely failed. But after checking the
user manuals
, I realized this is one of the most common dishwasher complaints, and in most cases, the cause is simple and easy to fix.
