TV5Monde Asia launches in HD across Asia Pacific

TV5Monde Asia has signed a deal with Globecast to launch TV5Monde Asia HD via the MEASAT-3 satellite and reach homes across the Asia Pacific region.

TV5Monde Asia HD is a simulcast of the SD variant, which was also delivered via Globecast's capacity on the MEASAT-3 satellite.

Globecast is providing signal delivery from TV5Monde in Paris.

The international French language channel feed is fibred to Globecast's Hong Kong teleport for uplink onto Globecast's multiplex on MEASAT-3 DVB-S2 platform.

TV5Monde network of channels broadcast in more than 200 countries and territories across the world with 42 in Asia Pacific alone.
