George Groves insists the shock split from long-term trainer Adam Booth has given him more motivation to take Carl Froch's world titles on November 23.
Groves had worked with Booth since the start of his professional career until the pair parted company in October, just a matter of weeks before 'The Saint' challenges Froch for his WBA and IBF titles, live on Sky Sports Box Office.
Booth plotted a number of notable wins for Groves and concerns have been raised about whether he can follow a successful gameplan in the absence of his one-time mentor.
A legal battle between the duo has also overshadowed Groves' preparations, but he played down the significance of the split and wants to prove he can succeed without Booth.
