After getting my 2000HD Hyper flashed from a college rd. rwp. mechanic, it is working FINE eversince. Out of curiosity to know what kind of dump file + boot version was used by the mechanic, I used "Erom Upgrade For Ali 351x (2.0.1_2009) with the option "DATA DUMP" instead of usual "UPGRADE" option. The aim was to get the DUMP-FILE of my presently functioning STB. But I was stuck at "STB MEMORY ERROR". Is there a way to achieve my aim by just using sr232 port?

no bhai agr RS232 se dump bn sakta hai to upgrade bhe ho jy ga. asal main is loader se connect he ni hota jo new model hyper hai. is kam k leay loader he koi upgraded ay tb ho skta hai..

Yes brother mery pass hai programmer universal programmer 2009 hai. Main ne bhe sirf hobby k leay rakha hai. Professional ni abhe learning stage pe hon Mery khayal main ISP main koi risk ni hai.

Start main mujhe itna idea ni tha ek din final downgrade install kia to mera starsat hyper bhe sirf blue light dany lga. Bout try ke erom loader se aur hr treeqa azma lia lakin ni thek hua.. Phr colleg road ly gia wahan nasir shah hai ek expert. Us k pass do din chkr lagat raha kbhe khy panel khrab ho gia kbhe board.
Akhir tang aa kr main ne new board order kr dia starsat ke site pe. 4300 pay kia 3 din bad board receive ho gia.
Main ne old board pe experiments jari rakhy akhir kamyab ho he gia murdy ghorry main jan dalny ko..
Us k bad ab tak bout kchh seekh lia hai. Hyper k bary aur china boxes k bary..

Agar ham pehley iss forum par milay hotey to aap key 4500/= bach saktey thai. Bilkul aap ki tarah main bhee Nasir Shah key pass 2 din khawaar hua. Phir mujhe AntennaWays ke Salmaan saheb nay Mr. Javed of MicroElectronics World, College Rd. refer kiya. Main iss ke pass 2 ghantay betha aur meray samney uss ne receiver theek kar diya. Uss ney mujhay Rs.1500/= charge kiyay. Uss kay baad sey ab main hobby ke taur par iss field main experiments bhee karta rehta hoon aur tools waghera bhee jamma karta rehta hoon.
