what are the main differences between Linux-based and non-linux based receivers. which one is better?

I want to buy a new hd latest receiver with These functions:

(1) Biss key Option (2) Power VU keys options (3) Twin Protocol (4) Mccamd/CCCAM (5) G-share (6) Builtin Dongle

(7) Double Tuner (8) Netflix and other apps (9) wifi (10) youtube) (11) LAN

I looked for it in various websites: there are hundreds of starsat modals, starmax modals, tiger but I can't decide which one is better.

Any help and expert opinions ?
