New Russian channels launch

the Russian DTH platform operator Orion has launched two proprietary channels.

Known as Secrets of the Galaxy and IQ Shop, they are owned by its subsidiary Max Media and bring the total number of proprietary channels in its portfolio to seven.

Both Secrets of the Galaxy and IQ Shop, which offer sci-fi programming and teleshopping, will be distributed by the Telekarta DTH service, available to viewers in the western part of Russia.

They will also be carried by cable networks.
