Mobilink and Warid are merging into one company, we have received the conformation that we were looking for over several weeks now.

For now we know that both Mobilink and Warid are merging and VimpelCom will become the sole stakeholder of Warid as Dhabi Group decided to exit from Telecom market of Pakistan.
As a result of the deal, Mobilink will grow to 46 million subscribers’ company and Telenor to remain at number two position, in terms of subscribers, with its current 33 million customers.
