Russian news TV Russia Today (RT) starts October 30, 2014 news channel intended for viewers in the British Isles. Channel called RT UK will focus on the major international events of interest to the British audience and focus on the issues that most interested the British.
RT UK will deliver five hours of television programs from studios in Millbank, London.
Currently in the UK version of the internationally RT. New home version will be available on the Sky platform, UK (512th position in the EPG) and Freeview (DVB-T, 135th position in the EPG). Since the beginning will be available for 90 per cent of UK households.
Russia Today launched in December 2005 and now consists of a news channel in English, Spanish and Arabic. Sister channel RT America broadcasts from studios in Washington DC. RT channels to the family include the documentary channel RT Doc broadcast in English and Russian languages.
RT programs are now available for more than 700 million viewers in more than 100 countries.
