How to Flash the LG Optimus Vu:
1. Download the firmware updating software
KDZ FIRMWARE UPDATER
and extract it to a folder. Install msxml on your windows pc by double clicking it.
2. Charge the phone to the maximum.
3. Entry Download mode (Vol- & Power Until come on display Download) & Connect Phone To PC
4. Disable Usb Modem Driver From Modem Tab (On Device manager )

6.Open KDZ_FW_UPD.exe
7.In the software window, select Type as 3GQCT
8.Select PhoneMode as DIAG
9.In the ‘KDZ file’ space, browse for the firmware you want to install.
10. In this case Click “Launch software update”
11.The firmware flashing process is now underway. If all goes well, in 5-10 minutes the phone will be flashed with the new firmware.
12. After booting up fully, detach the phone from the PC.
