earlier b4 residency change I used to install image thru browser when ever I needed as my ISP was cable network ,using a router for wifi signals.
Now I'm using EVO wingle for internet and when I try to update box's image thru browser ,192.168.0.1 doesn't open where as I use the same phenomena had been using uptill now.
And DCC also doesn't work.
any short cut?

Is it the receiver IP ? .. I dont think so confirm it in menu>system > network

@masood this is your dongle IP. check the ip from your receiver setup.

Normally when I push the power button prior to update the IP apears on box screen is 192.168.1.77

did you setup the IP as static or from DHCP.

and ur pc browser doesnt identify this ip right ?

go to menu>system> network > adaptor setting > Dhcp off enter manually ip like 7 , 9 etc which is not in use save it close menu power off box . restart router then restart box
now again check in menu is it green (accessible). Open browser enter box ip enter check if it opens webif . if it works no u can go to browser to access update page

thanks Rana G!!! will do same ,will give feed back ATM wingle's monthly package has expired and now I'm in search of easy paisa shops to re-load
Do you know the alternate of Easy paisa?(mostly shops found closed)
