do you read post number 59 of this thread' if not then why did you press thanks button.
read again' i mentioned there that time 2 delete your post is limited as 5 minutes hence edit option is not available anymore.
if delete option is available for 5 minutes then no need of edit posts in such a case.

If you took in this sense I'm also part of this environment.
I raised a point of "edit" in a positive sense if it causes board's credibility down then leave it and let it as it is.
NO more objection from my side.
