Dear All,
I would like to share my experience of installing a Uni-cable LNB (Inverto IDLB-QUDL42-UNI2L-1PP) and configuring it with an FBC tuner (Full Band Capture) on a Dreambox DM900.
I am now able to simultaneously record four programs on different channels of a single satellite. (This LNB can give access to 4 STBs at a given time only.) I am planning to get Unicable-II LNB which can access 32 STBs simultaneously.
These are the settings you have to do to properly configure this LNB on most of the Enigma-2 based receivers:
in Tuner Configuration:
Type: Unicable
Unicable Configuration Mode: Unicable LNB
Manufacturer: Inverto
Type: IDLB-QUDL42-UNI2L-1PP
Useable SCRs: 1210 1420 1680 2040 (this you have to select. By default value will be 1210 only. Multi LNB features will work only if you select all four UBs. These values are also mentioned on LNB itself (Picture attached for reference)
LNB pics are also attached for reference. Only one pin (golden color) of this particular LNB is unicable, rest two pins can be used as regular twin pin LNBs)
Thanks/Lord.

Re: Configuring KU-Band Unicable LNB with FBC-Tuner
I have a simple (Non-Unicable) LNB installed at Paksat 38e. Using DM900's PiP(Picture in Picture) I can watch both Horizontal and Vertical Polarities, which is impossible to do with a non-FBC tuner. If this would be a unicable LNB, I can initiate multiple recordings on same TP and multiple TPs and watch the channels simultaneously.

Re: Configuring KU-Band Unicable LNB with FBC-Tuner
There is no difference in performance in DM900 and DM1, Dm1 has a huge processor as compared to DM900 even then I couldn't find any difference in booting speed/zapping time, menu scrolling delay.
I think, if you are into recording (especially multiple recording like me) you got to have an FBC tuner and Unicable LNBs. And this you have to choose either DM900 or 920(i am not into VU+s, you can select VU+s with FBC tuners as well). If recordings are not your priority then DM1 is a great choice as it has a faster processor, AM-Logic chip so it runs some Paksat channels which other enigma receivers just can't. and I like the new RCU (remote control unit) of DM1 as well.
