Actually. There are seversl stations still broadcasting Analog TV signals in the US. These are low power LPTV stations. They have until 2020 (and maybe even longer) to broadcast analog TV.

Many are schools. Others churches. Others small cities and towns.

After the REPACK/ move of TV signals to lower channels by 2021, then the analog signals will cease.

Many other countries still broadcast analog signals to reach their poor masses. Especially in Africa and Central and South America
