are you facing the same issue using single reader ?
try these parameters.
what are the permissions of these files:

mips
oscam.conf
oscam.dvbapi
oscam.server

Code: Select all

[global]
logfile                       = /tmp/oscam.log
fallbacktimeout               = 0
unlockparental                = 1
nice                          = -1
maxlogsize                    = 2048
waitforcards                  = 0
waitforcards_extra_delay      = 1
readerrestartseconds          = 1
lb_mode                       = 1

Code: Select all

[reader]
label                         = Avril
protocol                      = newcamd
device                        = host,port
key                           = 0102030405060708091011121314
user                          = *****
password                      = *****
disableserverfilter           = 1
connectoninit                 = 1
cacheex_allow_filter          = 0
group                         = 1
blockemm-unknown              = 1
blockemm-u                    = 1
blockemm-s                    = 1
blockemm-g                    = 1
lb_weight                     = 1
audisabled                    = 1

Same issue with the single reader too.
File permission for mips is 755 & for others is 644.

Seems its binary version issue. Trying to get another version binary.
'll update after testing...

Yes, Avril's line has improved & has lezz freeze...

But I ve stopped using mgcamd because of its crashing issues...
U won't see any difference using wicardd or oscam as clients if using a single server's line.

But the difference is noticeable when we are using multiple servers in our boxes.

I found the difference as :

Oscam handles multiple servers better because in load balancing mode 1 it always selects the fastest server no matter in which order the proxies are set in the oscam.server file, & has less freeze whenever it switches proxies...

whereas :

mgcamd & wicardd always follows the order or sequence of proxies & always try to sent ecm requests to the first line available in the reader file, they don't try to sent requests to the fastest available server. Reader are switched only in case any channel fails to decode using the first proxy.
If any channel opens up using second reader in sequence wicardd always try to resend the ecm requests to the first reader no matter the channels opens or not.

During this interval freezing happens.

I ve tested wicard using load balancer modes (tried every mode from 1 to 5) but they don't make any difference & wicard always follows the reader sequence. The last readers in sequence never get used if the CW's are received from the first or second reader (even the last readers could be fast with less ecm timings)

That's why i m preferring to use oscam as client.....
