Hello

Some times, our stb stuck and fail to boot or GUI is not started.

So here is the solution to reboot the stb

Method

1. Start telnet session

2. type the below command

rm -R /etc/enigma2 && killall -9 enigma2

@ Taree, never tried 1920 resolution (mere paas 4k LED/STB nahi hai), i always use 1080p and latest above mentioned file is perfectly working in both DM and VU

@ Taree, thanks for advice, i have some limitations while watching youtube, like i use zong/jazz net which is limited, however very soon ptcl shall be available in our village and i shall get unlimited connection for youtube and iptv streaming

Main apne dil ki baat sham ko karon ga, abhi main apne SOLO2 ka image change kar raha hoon (shifting from blackhole to openpli 7) and also to check my new PTCL Chargji Evo Cloud (jo main ne upgrade offer main 3G se replace ki hai)

@ Athart, one thing to add, Dual core can handle 2 tasks at one time while quad core can handle 4 tasks at one time each with a speed of 2.1 GHZ as mentioned above

@ Shahid Geo, you are absolutely right that openpli is one of the best images, but at the same time i have some observations that: 1. Open images use old feeds 2. Do not access to new drivers So in my opinion we may also consider using other NON OPEN images for enigma2 boxes, like Dream Elite ...

@ lord, mere khayal main, boot time is not only tuner dependent , other factors also matter like image, settings, plugins and skin in use.
one more thing that much of the boot time is taken by application Enigma2 and for starting Enigma2 the CPU speed matters very much
