Pakistan main is waqt ziada tar MPEG-4 box use ho rahe hain aur ab HEVC bhi saste hogaye hain to use barh rha hai lakin india main abhi bhi MPEG-2 use ho rha hai mager ab suna hai MPEG-2 khatam ho rha hai aur HUM Network wale apne boxes free main de rhe hain cable walon ko

99.9% agree, mere area mein jo cable hai uss mein wo 2 number local fake receivers use kartay hain jo k star trek, truk, echolink aur starsat k naam se hotay hain, sirf made in china likha hota hai 1800 se 3500 walay box... lekin wo itna kama letay hain k easily koi bhi box purchase kar saktay hain...
Pakistan aur india main cable wale apne network per paise nahi lagate is liye box bhi sasta use krte hain aur box kia yahan to wires tak change nahi krte na amplifier change kerte hain na standard distance k bad new booster lgate hain jiski wajah se channels kharab ate hian
I agree that South Asian countries are not ready to switch to 4k or hevc bcz we are still using 1080p format we don't have hevc or 4k leds or they are too costly to buy but sun dth is a leading dth operator in India which converts all of its hd channels to hevc so now there is competition between dishtv and videocon. Aur ab Indian channels ke sath sath pakistani channels bhi hevc ki dour main shamil jo Chuka hain. Very soon major dth operators and channels will shift to hevc. And there is a difference between hevc and 4k. 4k is too costly but hevc is affordable, and much better than 1080p I have normal led 32inch which supports 1080p and I witnessed huge difference between hevc and 1080p on my tiger t8.
