It is soon to leave the Amiko A5 or Amiko Alien 5 the successor of the Amiko A4 OTT, Amiko A4 Combo / Satellite / T2 / C , and that promises to be a bomb already exist images and already know some interesting things about this new powerful equipment Android from Amiko, certainly will have several variants this model but one that is certain is the Amiko A5 Combo.
The brand bet on a processor very similar to that used in variations of the Amiko A4, however this AMLprocessor S905d 1.5GHz is more turned to DVB functions which allows dual boot in Enigma 2, already in tests with images OpenATV 6.2 and Kernel 3.14.29 which promises to be a direct competitor of Wetek Play 2and perhaps most successfully at this point since Wetek Play 2 has never had Enigma 2 support due to the processor model they use does not have Enigma 2 support via the SD card and has kodi support through Enigma2.
It features a Pentacore MALI-MP450 GPU , which supports Main10 HEVC H.265 2160p60, HEVC video and VP9, DTS DD, in short we are talking at 4K at 60 frames per second.
In memory nothing has changed we are talking about 2GB of DDR3 memory, which is enough however when we talk about physical space we are talking about 16GB which makes all the difference for example torrent / stream programs ( Quasar) that need enough space to produce a 1080p or 4K movie and the 8GB are not enough or even to install applications or Android games.
The present android is Nougat 7.1.2 , very recent version as we know, includes default applications such as DTV LinkDroid, the latest version of Kodi 17.6, supports YouTube 4K, and Netflix in 4K which is very good since many do not even support 1080p on Netflix.
The IPTV in the Amiko A5 Combo is present through IPTV support STB UEM and Stalker and of course CCcam supports Oscam for Android and Enigma 2, it is spoken in a reader of conax cards however in the images we still can not perceive where they put it, the communications are assured by 2.4GHz and 5GHz wifi, gibabit network port, and Blutooth 4.0.
It has VPN support on Android and Enigma 2.
The command seems to be well designed and the shortcut keys to Kodi and IPTV are arguably the best one can ask for in a command nowadays.
This amiko equipment has everything to beat the competition, however just know if it will support height!
